Cat Spring is an unincorporated residential and ranching community with very few retail businesses . But it appears that is beginning change.
Recently we have seen the opening of two new endeavors , Wagon Haus, which also includes Lucky Iron Coffee, and Rapha Kitchen , a specialized bakery and restaurant. I wish them great success in our little town. Let’s show them a warm welcome!
Wagon Haus has been gradually rolling out its welcome mat through hosting farmers markets at its barn featuring local vendors. They also have an actual boutique . Now they are offering delicious coffee drinks as well. They are located to the left of the post office in the big old barn by the railroad tracks in the main Cat Spring area. Hours vary and are posted on Facebook.

Rapha Kitchen is located in the old Carol’s restaurant at 10754 FM 949. The owners are from Houston where they have their main store, Provisions, in the First Ward. Currently they have limited availability of sourdough bread and muffins and other natural foods through online orders at www.raphakitchenandco.com and in store on Thursday-Saturday 9-3 according to Facebook posts. A wine garden is in the works, as well.
